I’m excited to announce that Starr Culpepper-Jackson, Esq. will lead our team and serve as Campaign Manager for our campaign for Jefferson County Commission, District 1. Starr will be a tremendous added value as we work to earn the trust of voters across District 1 and build a campaign that is disciplined, people-centered, and focused on results.

Starr is a seasoned political strategist and field organizer with extensive experience in grassroots mobilization, voter engagement, and campaign operations. She previously served as Regional Field Director for the Walt Maddox for Governor campaign, where she led direct voter contact strategies, recruited and trained volunteers, managed data-driven field operations, and served as a key liaison between the campaign and community stakeholders.

Starr also served as Campaign Strategist for Attorney Ruby Davis’ successful bid for District Court Judge, 10th Judicial Circuit, Place 7 (Birmingham Division). With a background rooted in legal, faith-based, and civic engagement, Starr is known for building disciplined campaigns that connect message, field strategy, and community impact.
